Nikon got their new D4s out at the CES 2014 show in Las Vegas last week. Sadly, it was kept out of the hands of interested bloggers and enthusiasts and encased behind glass. The guys at phoblographer managed to take a few on hoof snaps of the camera which bares a striking resemblance to the older version.
Not surprising then that in the same week Japanese website digitalcamera.jp was able to publish a confirmation that the Nikon d4s will have the same memory card configuration as the D4: one XQD and one CF.
NikonRumours.com have this great photo showing the similarities of the two models.
Although the D4s is shaping up to be outwardly similar to the older version other key details about the spec and likely price are still unavailable, and it has not yet started to appear as a listing on major retail sites such as Amazon, suggesting the release date is still a few months off. Which leaves the questions, worth buying and what would you pay to add it to your photography arsenal?
