One thing is certain in the world of photography – everything is black.

Cameras, flashes, accessories: They’re all black. Okay, there’s a couple of exceptions – some Olympus bodies are white, and Pentax bodies can be custom colored. Canon’s flagship zoom lenses are white and Nikon’s older zooms were white before they gave in to the darkside. I’m getting off topic, back to my original thesis:

Everything is black.

Photography humor for Monday.

It’s a fear in the back of a photographer’s mind: Meeting a super-cool tog, someone you’d like to be more than a temporary shooting partner only to discover they shoot with the wrong brand.

Nikon Girls and Canon Boys? Canon Girls and Nikon Boys? Can it possible work out? Given the considerable acrimony between Nikon and Canon users I speculate: No.

Watch the video and give your two cents. What do you think? Would you date someone shooting Nikon if you shot Canon, or vice-versa? Would you try to convert them to the side of right, accept the situation and deal with it, or abandon your beliefs and join darkside?
