The Phottix Hector 9HD was at Computex, one of the top computer hardware shows in the world. Phottix is one of the world’s top photo accessories companies. The two go together like peanut butter and jam.

Phottix was behind the scenes at Computex with Taipei’s FirstZoom Studios. FirstZoom, video producer extraordinaires, were filming the set up of booths and interviewing firms about their fresh new products.

And they did it all with a Canon 7D and the soon-to-be release Hector 9HD LCD Live View monitor.

While my objectivity can be questioned, I will say this: The Hector 9HD rocks. For DSLR filmmakers it’s a cold drink of water on a hot day. Nine vivid inches of HD LCD for preview, review and focusing. HDMI, S Video, AV and Y/PB/PR connections, and, shutter release, bulb mode and AF functions? What more can you ask for?

Jump over the Phottix Facebook Fan Page for exclusive video of the Hector 9HD in action.
