Phottix had the pleasure of working with acclaimed photographer Zack Arias during his workshops at the week-long 2016 Gulf Photo Plus event in Dubai. Zack and his students used the Strato II Multi Flash trigger, Mitros+ TTL Transceiver Flash, Easy-up Umbrella softboxes and Varos Pro Umbrella Adapters during his well-loved One Light Workshops.
If you haven’t had the chance to attend a workshop by Zack, they are highly recommended (Editor’s note: I’ve taken them all). His workshops are also available for download on CreativeLive.
Aside: Zack shoots Fuji. The Fujifilm X-series are some of the world’s best mirrorless cameras (all the photos in this post were shot with the new Fujifilm X70 provided by Fujifilm UAE). Wouldn’t it be great it the Phottix Odin II and Indra were Fuji compatible? We think it would. Make yourself heard in the comments below.
Please make the Odin II compatible with Fuji, it’s the only thing holding me back from my mixed bag of triggers and lights and cameras for different situations. It would truly be a pleasure to use my Indra 500 with my Fuji system.
A Fuji compatible system would be amazing. I think it’s equally important, though, to simply allow manual control of power levels from an odin controller – that way we can at least get remote -manual- control even when using non-tll cameras and truly make odin/indra/mitros a universally useful ecosystem.
Yes! I would love it Phottix triggers were compatible with Fuji gear!
I was a Canon user and user of your original Odin series triggers. In fact my photos have been your photo of the week 3 or 4 times as a result of my using your Phottix equipment. I still use various phottix hear such as umbrellas, multiboom, etc, but I have since switched to Fuji and have had a hard time finding a trigger system I liked.
It would be great if both Odin or Odin II at least fire strobes. No need for TTL. Manual will be good enough.
