You wanted it, now it is here: The Phottix BG-A77 Multifuction Battery Grip. This grip has been much-requested and is now making its way to Phottix retailers.
Phottix Premium Series BG-A77 Battery Grip for Sony A77 DSLRs features AEL, AF Points, and Exposure compensation buttons, command dial, vertical shutter button and power switch. The BG-A77 holds 1 or 2 NP-FM500H batteries and also provides a comfortable vertical shooting with an additional shutter release and scroll wheel for easy access to the camera functions when shooting in the vertical orientation. The grip also has a tripod socket.
