Canon 7D Phottix Hector C8R Cable
They’re finally here.
To those readers that have emailed about Canon 7D and Canon 500D cables for the Phottix Hector LiveView Remote, I am happy to proclaim they are currently being produced.
The new Canon 7D and Canon 500D, because of Canon’s changes to the bodies’ AV outputs, were unable to attach to the Phottix Hector. The bright minds at Phottix (and the bright minds of their customers) came up with a great solution.
The new Phottix Hector cable attaches to the USB-to-AV output cables provided with a Canon 7D or Canon 500D. With the new cable you can view the Hector’s LiveView preview and operate the camera’s shutter and AF functions.
