We get a lot of email asking: Does the Odin work with the 5D Mark III? In short: Yes!
The above was shot with the Canon 5D Mark III and the Phottix Odin TTL Flash Trigger for Canon. Two flashes were fired into a 72″ Para-Pro Reflective Umbrella, a third used in an orbis Ring Flash as a hair light.
There are some issues with the Odin for Canon and the 5D Mark III when “bounce” flash is being used. Firmware revisions are being tested and will be available later this month. Stay tuned for further details and announcements.

Had the Phottix Odin and 3 trigger receivers for 3 weeks now.Works perfect with my 5D Mark lll. These things make life a lot more comfortable
…wished I had known about them before.By the way, also works great with my Canon G1X.
Works flawless on my t3i as well . . .
I try to use Phottix Odin with three receivers, Canon 5D Mark III and three Metz Mecablitz 58 AF-2. Unfortunatly this compostion doesn’t work steady. Sometimes all flashes are firering, sometime only one or two and sometimes no one at all. Is Phottix planing an update for Metz Mecablitz 58 AF-2? I love this flashlights. (sorry for mistakes, english isn’t my mothertongue).
I am glad this new firmware is available this month.
Are there any issues with firing the odins from multiple cameras at the same time (aside from flash recycle time)? My 2nd photographer and I trigger the same flashes at wedding receptions. Seems like it could be the perfect system!!
