Firmware version 1.03 for the Phottix Odin TTL Trigger for Nikon is available for download.
What does it do?
1. Added TTL Pref. function – pressing and holding the “ZOOM” and “+” adjustment buttons for about 2 seconds will move to TTL Pref. adjustments screen. Press the “ON/OFF” power button to exit. TTL Pref allows you to set an overall EV adjustment for the Phottix Odin system, independent of TCU adjustments. If you set TTL Pref at +2 EV all TTL photos taken with the Odin will the +2 EV. Adjustments made in TTL mode on the TTL/Mixed Screen will be added or subtracted from the TTL Pref Setting. Example: TTL Pref is set to +2. TTL/Mixed Screen adjustment set to -1 EV. Overall adjustment: +2 – 1 = +1 EV.
2. Added firmware version display function – pressing and holding the “SEL” and “+” adjustment buttons(with TCU turned on) for about 2 seconds will display the firmware version. Press any button to exit.
3. Added function: Fast adjust power levels in M mode and EV amounts in TTL mode by pressing and holding the “+” or “-” adjustment buttons.

This is an excellent upgrade to what is an extremely good trigger system.
I would also just like to thank Phottix for their very quick response to a queery regarding an issue I had with the update, first rate customer service.
We just need the pre flash in manual mode disabling now and the Odins will be the best flash trigger system available in my opinion.
I’m going to download the update now, I wish you fix the pre-flash symptom in manual mode soon. also, I dream to find extension modules for alien bees and sekonic products soon…. way to go phottix.
Does it mean the pre flash is also now disabled in manual mode?
I’m rather new to the Odin system – and so far, I am very impressed. Glad I went with the Phottix system instead of the other guys.
One question on upgrades – I assume that V1.03 will contain the previous updates. That is, the 1.03 upgrade contains the 1.02 and 1.01 updates (if a 1.01 exists – have not found it yet).
