Shooting high key images can be difficult. Getting your photographic whites their whitest can be a challenge.
Zack Arias published his multi-post treatise on white backgrounds – but the Phottix Journal will give you the skinny on a down-and-dirty way to shoot high key images.
With a Hensel 200 cm Octaform Lightbox, a Hensel Monoblock as your background, and a key light in front, white background images can be fast and easy. Okay, not everyone has a 800W Hensel laying, but a similar effect could be achieved with two or three flashes on full power into a large softbox.
