Phottix Pro Team Shooter and Good Light Magazine Editor Michael Zelbel visited China recently. Team Phottix caught up with him and arranged a shoot in Shanghai. Michael was shooting with the Phottix Odin TTL Flash Trigger for Canon and Phottix Mitros TTL Flash for Canon, and HSS for a little fill light The softbox is a Phottix 60x90cm Easy-Up Umbrella Softbox (Michael did not have the new Multi Boom 16″ when the video was shot),
What does Michael say about the video:
Let me tell you upfront: This video is not about using your speedlight outdoor as strong main light so that your photos look like surreal stuff from another planet, which is obviously located in the a multi-sun solar system. It is also not about going into the desert and trying to knock out harsh midday sun and overpower it magically with a flash. Nope. This is about adding a touch of light to your subject outdoor. Just enough to make it beautifully stand out from your background.

Hello
I wait for the new firmware from Phottix Odin to use it with a Canon EOS 1 DX.How long i must wait for this firmware?
Hugs Rafael
I understand the Odin trigger will fire the Strato II Multi receiver but will that type of setup work for High Speed Sync? I’m shooting with Canon.
Thanks in advance!
@Jon: HSS is only supported when you use Odin receivers.
