BABY like art’s Newborn Photography Workshop, KL Highlights from Filming Art Cinematography on Vimeo.
Photographer Lexis Ow recently did two workshops on Newborn Photography, in Kuala Lumpur and Singapore. To quote Lexis’ blog post:
BABY like art had its first newborn photography workshop in The Scott Garden, Kuala Lumpur Malaysia on 23-24 Feb 2017. We were so humbled and grateful by the attendance of participants from Singapore, Johor Bahru, Malacca, Kuala Lumpur itself and Sarawak. We believed that the best learning takes place in a small and intimate setting, hence we picked one of the apartments in The Scott Garden.
This 2 days newborn photography workshop was designed for amateur or professional photographers who like to learn more about the genre of Newborn Photography. Attendees learnt and understand the difference and how unique newborn photography is. Besides the technical and fine art knowledge, the photographer has to be completely responsible for the safety and welfare of the baby. There are both theory and practical portions. In the morning of Day 1, attendees learnt about the fundamentals of newborn fine art. We have also shared the types of props used.
Lexis is a big fan of the Phottix Indra360 TTL and Odin II systems for newborn photography. Jump over to his blog post to see more photos and BTS info.
