Rock Bottom by FPR
This week’s Phottix Weekly Photo comes from Barry Chignell, a flickr user that also operates the Free Photo Resources website (he’s also a Photog Friday Alumni). Rock Bottom was posted to the Phottix Photos group – another great photo taken with Phottix Professional Photo Accessories.
Says the shooter: I thought I would try and take a self portrait that told a story. As I like a little ‘darkness’ in my portraits I went the whole hog and tried to portray someone at the end of the road……
Using a Phottix Duo TTL Cord, this images was shot with the flash 6 inches and slightly to the left of the subject, at 1/1000 sec, F10, ISO 500. He reduced the saturation in Photoshop and applied Dave Hill style effects.
