The Flash Softbox and Strap
Some times a little softbox will do the job. Building on the Bounce Card and Snoot sets, the Flash Softbox uses a Velcro strap to attach the folding softbox to a hot shoe flash. The 22 x 16 cm softbox (10″) has movable inner diffusers for more control and top vent for bouncing light.
The light from this small softbox is neither hard nor soft, and is perfect for fast portrait shoots when used on a light stand or hand-held by an assistant.

The above image was captured with a flash softbox as a key light. It was the perfect tool to throw a little light on the model without overwhelming the scene.
