My camera is a Canon 7D. I have read many articles concerning badly fitting plugs on third party remotes for the 7D. Can you please assure me the Aion will attach to my 7D without any problems of loose connection or the plug falling out. Canons own remote has a latching device on its plug, does the Aion have a similar device.

I love my Aion. It worked fine with my 7D and 5D Mark2, but I have some issues with double releasing using the 5D Mark 3, which sucks when doing timelapse photography. It happens more often when using highspeed shooting but even in Single Shot Mode it happens.
