For Sony’s multi hot shoe? Cost?
It’s a pity really, now when Sony users rapidly increase, Phottix still focus only in Canon and NIkon System.. 🙁
well, there are just multiple canon and nikon cameras out there. so, when you buy into the sony-system you have to be aware, that you might have to wait longer or never get support … altough of course, they have great cameras.
but canon-users i talk to are not happy with the odin II, since phottix dared to omit the rear-curtain-sync from version I – really a no go. and how about backward-compatability. many seem disappointed and will stay with Odin I
The Odin II for Sony’s Multi Shoe interface is in testing. It will be available in late spring.
Late testing on Sony.
Petra Kleister they already have Odin TCU for Sony (though the hot shoe is Minolta based) but I think the product didn’t sell well.. I’m stay at South East Asia and it’s hopeless to find Odin for Sony, therefore I bought couple of Mitros+ for Sony.. After that Phottix launch the Indra TTL Series, but they didn’t include Odin Receiver for Sony even they already made Odin Transmitter for Sony, that’s my point.. However, the Indra TTL have Strato II built in receiver that can connect with Mitros+ (I don’t know will it work on Mitros+ for Sony) but Strato II doesn’t support HSS.. 🙁
I hope there will be an upgrade firmware or something for Indra TTL System so it will support Mitros+ for Sony with HSS enable..

I think this one, try to use windows 7 if available..
“Highspeed sync to 1/8000th” is that with proprietary speed lights, or can it run high speed sync to a point with profoto and elinchrom studio strobes? Thanks all
Using the Odin II ODS function, you can achieve higher sync speeds with many studio light models. That depends on several different factors. The 1/8000s speed is with compatible hot shoe flashes.
