This week’s Phottix Weekly Photo comes from Martijn Smit – another great photo taken with Phottix Professional Photo Accessories. See more of Martijn’s photos on Facebook.
He used two Nissin Di866 flasses in TTL mode using the Phottix Odin TTL Flash Trigger for Canon.. No sofbox or other modifers were used, just bare flashes. The shutter speed was 1/8000 with a f/6.3 as aperture.
Photography Training Guru Phil Steele published his review of the Phottix Odin recently – take look – he says:
…these are simply the best flash triggers I’ve ever seen.

Editor’s Note: An image by Martijn Smit was published two weeks ago claiming to have been shot at 1/8000 sec. A Phottix Journal reader checked the EXIF data and spotted the image was not shot in HSS mode. After realizing the wrong image was posted a replacement was sent by email. Sorry for any confusion.
the exif data on this photo says, f16, 1/250th. what gives?
Very good question, Jon. It does not match, does it? The information above was provided. I will look into this further.
